Operation Care Services and Mission
Operation Care provides Food and Clothing to the less fortunate. Proudly serving NWI and Chicagoland since it was founded in 1985.
Food and Clothing Distribution
Operation Care distributes food and clothing from its Pantry to residents and non-residents of NWI and the Chicagoland Area. Clients have a choice of what type of food items and clothing they receive. These Items may include Meat, Fresh Vegetables, Bread and Pastries. A clothing room is available for Clients to "shop" for season-appropriate clothing and shoes at no cost to them. Included in their orders is food from the USDA, Donor Partners, and Food that has been purchased with Money that has been raised by Donors from events like; The Hunger Hike, The Family Christian Center Food Drive, The US Postal Service Food Drive, and the Operation Care Fundraiser and Banquet.
Mission: No one goes Hungry
The Mission of Operation Care is simple. No one goes Hungry. 34 years ago, Operation Care humbly began providing Bagels and Hot Dogs to anyone that was in need... presently, Operation Care has provided food and clothing to over 600,000 thousand people and has given away over 11.5 million pounds of food! A tireless group of dedicated volunteers and staff have donated countless hours of their time to ensure that all who come to the OC Pantry leave with bags of food and a Heart full of Hope.
Operation Care Banquet & Fundraiser
Friday, May 17th, 2019 at 6:30 pm
Operation Care is having its' Banquet and Fundraiser Event on Friday, May 17th, 2019 at 6:30 pm. (Doors open 1 hour prior to the start of the event.) The event will be held at Family Christian Center located at 340 west 45th St. Munster, Indiana. This Banquet and Fundraiser is to acknowledge and show our appreciation to our Corporate and Private Donors. Especially thanking them for partnering with us in our mission to assist those in need. Music, Food and Fun will be provided along with a Silent Auction! A presentation from thought-provoking speakers will enlighten and hopefully inspire those in attendance to get even more involved with this humanitarian outreach. Please show your support and stand with us in our quest to eradicate hunger...one plate at a time! There are many ways to join the fight against hunger and have you or your Companies name added to our Illustrious List of Sponsors. This List of Sponsors will be given to Dignitaries and Prominent Individuals that have purchased tickets to attend the Operation Care Fundraiser and Banquet. This Brochure will also be given out at future OC Events and functions throughout the year! What a Great way to show the Community that you Care! There are three ways to get involved and do your part so that NO One goes hungry or without clothing in your community.

Tickets are $30 for an individual and a table of 8 is just $200
Secondly, Make a Donation of YOUR Products or Services that can be Bid on in the Private Auction.
Thirdly, Become a Sponsor that will be included in the Operation Care Brochure.

Diamond Level Sponsor of $250 gets a Half Page Ad in the OC Brochure
